Check out this timepeice video of the Circus Building. In spite of efforts to preserve the time honored building and it's special history, the city did a partial demolition in 2013, leaving only the steel frame, then voted in 2014 to remove what remained.

Sprouts Farmers Market will open a new location in Venice on Friday, Nov. 14, at 1120 Jacaranda Blvd.

The grocery chain, known for its farmers-market style layout and focus on fresh, natural foods and wellness products, brings about 90 new jobs to the area.

Venice High School’s quarterback room is growing, adding even more intrigue as the season progresses.

Senior Daniel Pangallo just transferred from Spoto High after losing his starting job there.

He joins senior Darryon Jones, a standout from Chaminade-Madonna and Howard University commit, who transferred earlier in September, and Sean Long, who arrived this summer from Pennsylvania.

This trio gives Venice an unusual level of depth and experience at quarterback—an asset as the team hits the heart of its schedule.

The coaching staff now faces the challenge of balancing practice reps and game opportunities for three talented seniors, each eager to take the lead.

The true test will be...
