Wee Blew Inn Bids Farewell

After 45 Years in Venice

Iconic Venice Diner Closes Its Doors, Leaving a Legacy of Memories

After much speculation and a series of conflicting reports, it's now confirmed: the Wee Blew Inn, a cherished diner that has been a cornerstone of the Venice community for 45 years, has officially closed its doors.

The restaurant announced its closure in a heartfelt Facebook post, stating, "With heavy hearts, we announce the closing of our doors." They expressed deep gratitude to their loyal customers and dedicated employees who have supported them throughout their long journey. The post continued, "Many of you have treated this place like a second home... We're going to miss it just as much as you."

In the days leading up to the closure, the Wee Blew Inn invited patrons to stop by for a final meal, encouraging them to enjoy their favorite dishes, sip coffee from the familiar brown mugs, and share memories with the staff. The restaurant also began the process of selling off items from the establishment, as indicated on their Facebook page.

The closure of the Wee Blew Inn marks the end of an era for Venice. For decades, it served as a gathering place where locals and visitors alike could enjoy hearty meals and warm hospitality. The diner was renowned for its classic American breakfast and lunch offerings, with many patrons praising the quality of the food and the friendly service.

As Venice continues to evolve, the community reflects on the impact of losing such a beloved landmark. The memories created within the walls of the Wee Blew Inn will undoubtedly linger in the hearts of many. It's always sad when a landmark evolves into nothing more than a memory.
