Origin Pizza Cafe is bringing its signature pies, “best-in-Florida” wings, and Mediterranean favorites to Venice next spring. Owner Rami Nehme confirmed the brand’s sixth restaurant is slated for a March 2026 debut, further extending Origin’s Sarasota-southerly area footprint into our Community.

The Venice location is planned as a full-service space with seating for approximately 120–130 guests and a full bar. On the menu: crowd-pleasers like pizza and wings, plus Mediterranean-leaning plates such as falafel, hummus, artichoke dip, and the house-favorite Origin Salad—zucchini, summer squash, feta, and onions over arugula and spinach

Planned hours are 11 a.m.–midnight on weekdays and until 1 a.m. on weekends—giving Venice diners another late-night option along the Tamiami corridor.

Launched in 2016 by Nehme, Origin Pizza Cafe has become a staple for many Sarasota residents and visitors. The company currently operates five brick-and-mortar locations in Sarasota County and maintains a permanent food truck at Big Top Brewing.
